5. Incorporate The Network Edit

You might say that DYC is cause-centric. If we can organize our efforts around problems, people with common interests and organizations with common goals can easily come together to participate in the solution. Then as people join a cause, they do more than voice their opinion; they join a network of like-minded individuals and organizations.

While the online community is an important aspect of DYC, we hope the networks pervade the offline components of people’s lives as well. We want people to feel a sense of community and camaraderie with their DYC networks. That’s when they’ll really be able to share ideas, resources, and support.
